Reappointment of Auditor of Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan(CCBJ)
Ichiro.Yamamoto, our CEO, was reappointed as Auditor at the General Membership Meeting of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan at the end of June.
CCBJ has had to drastically reduce its activities over the past two years due to the Covid-19 disaster, and the number of its membership has been declining. The Brazilian economy was also hit hard by this disaster, but now, like other countries, it is on the road to recovery, although it is facing inflation, the unemployment rate is improving. The CCBJ's activities are very varied and interesting, including holding seminars on Brazilian business, meetings and parties to exchange with Brazilian companies active in Japan, Nikkei-companies founded in Japan, the Brazilian Ambassador & consular officials, and chambers of commerce in other countries (especially the US), and organizing the annual Brazilian Festival (cancelled for the past two years, scheduled to be held in the autumn this year) at Yoyogi Park as the main and bid event We hope that those who are interested will consider joining CCBJ. As is the nature of Brazil, we are a cheerful, frank, and energetic gathering, so please feel free to join us.
